JT Packard presents at Spring 7x24 Conference

Power Solutions continues to sponsor the 7x24 Exchange Conference. 

7x24 Exchange is the leading knowledge exchange for those who design, build, use and maintain mission-critical enterprise information infrastructures, 7x24 Exchange's goal is to improve end-to-end reliability by promoting dialogue among these groups.

On June 8th, we presented a Vendor Knowledge Breakout session on the topic of Metrics & TCO for Real Efficiency Improvements

During this presentations, we looked at how to get started in the quest to improve Data Center Energy Efficiency, as well as key elements that factor into the total cost of ownership and help make customers aware of tools and programs that are available to them through the proper partner channels. Other topics included:

• Identify baseline metrics and discuss PUE/DCiE
• Identify the key drivers of data center power usage and the easiest targets for change.
• Identify the role of monitoring so changes are made visible
• Examine current Utility rebates
• Provide example of ROI/TCO tools.

The presentation proved to be a success. Power Solutions will continue to sponsor and present at the 7x24 Exchange Conferences.
