Chris Tecca
Appointed to President, Danaher Power Solutions
Earlier this week, Danaher Corporation announced the acquisition
of Pelton & Crane Company, a premier manufacturer of dental
equipment based in Charlotte, North Carolina and Newberg, Oregon.
Kurt Gallo, previously President, Danaher Power Solutions has
been appointed President, Pelton & Crane and will report
directly to Dr. Martin Rickert, President, KaVo. Kurt and his
family will be relocating to Charlotte NC in the coming weeks.
Effective immediately, Kurt is succeeded by Chris
Tecca as President, Danaher Power Solutions. Chris will report
directly to me.
Chris joined Danaher in 2002 as Vice President
and General Manager of Enterprise Systems at Danaher Power Solutions. In this role he led Sales,
Marketing, and Service Engineering. In 2003, he was appointed
VP Sales and Marketing for all Danaher Power Solutions product lines. In 2004
he assumed full profit and loss responsibility for the Enterprise
Systems business at Danaher Power Solutions, and drove new product introduction and
significant increases in the service business. In his new
role as President, those who had reported to Kurt Gallo, will
now report to Chris.
Prior to joining Danaher Power Solutions Chris
worked for eight years at American Power Conversion. In his last position
there, he was Director, EMEA Sales & Marketing based in Paris,
France. Chris graduated from Villanova University with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He was
a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve. Chris,
his wife Kim, and their 4 children, Tymko, Victoria, Matthew,
and Natalia will remain in the Richmond area. He can be
