RICHMOND, VA – September 30, 2009 – Thomas & Betts will place its Power Solutions group on center stage at the Data Center World tradeshow, including an unveiling of the new Cyberex® high-power Remote Power Panel (RPP) with rack-like form factor. Designed for integration into standard rack lineups, this new RPP pays huge dividends by increasing the energy efficiency of a facility’s data center.
This RPP is available in both 225A and 400A configurations and in voltages up to 415 volts – a recipe for higher power density. The Cyberex high-power RPP distributes a higher voltage and amperage to put more kilowatts into the whitespace, and it requires a smaller footprint because the transformer can be placed elsewhere. This can significantly improve a data center’s PUE, meaning greater energy efficiency and lower utility costs.
A recent addition to the Thomas & Betts family, Cyberex products have been on the leading edge of innovation in the power solutions industry since 1964. They are designed to ensure the availability of clean, reliability, redundant electricity in order to keep critical systems such as data centers operating.
“Managing risks, capacity, and energy efficiency is crucial to a data center,” said Cyberex product manager Richard Draper. “Data Center World is the perfect venue to demonstrate the advantages of Cyberex solutions directly with key design and build firms, consultants, and engineers.”
Presented by AFCOM, Data Center World is the leading educational conference for data center professionals and the largest global event of its kind. The T&B Power Solutions group (booth #600) will showcase products under the Cyberex®, Current Technology®, Russellstoll®, Blackburn® and many more brand names.
